Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Staff NetSuite Engineer with deep expertise in Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report processes to bridge Finance and Technology. You will lead design, configuration, and automation of NetSuite to support GL, journals, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.

This role partners with Accounting, Tax, Treasury and RevOps to enforce controls, SOX compliance, and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of NetSuite development experience focused on GL and accounting modules.
• Strong knowledge of OTC and R2R processes including journals and consolidations.
• Proficiency with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience implementing SOX controls and US GAAP-compliant workflows.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and customization of NetSuite for R2R and accounting processes.
• Architect scalable NetSuite solutions that integrate with procurement, billing, and data lake.
• Develop and maintain SuiteScript and RESTlets to support automation.
• Partner with Finance to translate accounting policies into system controls.
• Ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness through role-based security and reconciliations.
• Improve financial close and reporting through optimized processes and dashboards.
• Provide SME guidance and mentorship to engineers and analysts.
• Oversee integrations with payroll, banking, CRM (Salesforce, Coupa, Concur).
