Ladders is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to build high-performance networking software for desktop and mobile environments. The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and security, with collaboration across product and cross-functional teams.

You will design and implement secure networking solutions, contribute to core engineering initiatives, and tackle complex network challenges in a remote US-based setting. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, particularly in C++.
• 3+ years of experience coding with Rust, especially in systems programming and async frameworks like Tokio and Reqwest.
• Deep understanding of networking, focusing on tunneling applications and IPv4/IPv6 transport mechanisms.
• Curiosity and active exploration of AI tools to enhance workflows.
• Experience with cross-platform development across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement high-performance networking code using Rust.
• Build solid, testable, and well-documented code foundations across desktop platforms.
• Debug complex network-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Contribute to the design of major development projects in collaboration with product managers and cross-functional teams.
