Openbound in Seattle is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance core framework systems with strong C/C++ expertise. You will diagnose production issues, optimize performance, and improve reliability at scale.

You will collaborate with product, platform, and cloud teams on modernization efforts and architectural roadmaps, applying deep knowledge of networking, data structures, and algorithms to build robust, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM-related bachelor's degree
• At least four years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems at scale
• Strong C and C++ expertise, Linux systems experience, performance-critical systems and debugging skills
• Solid foundation in networking, algorithms, data structures, and software design
