Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Experience developing consumer experiences using UI frameworks like React.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy for your team on a year-long time scale and align with critical projects.
• Collaborate across product, design, and analytics to ensure technical sustainability and managed risks.
• Act as a force-multiplier by defining technical solutions and operational processes.
• Own team operations and on-call readiness with monitoring, playbooks, and policies.
• Set code reviews and design standards and advocate for them beyond your team.
• Develop talent by giving feedback and mentoring and leading by example.
