Zusammenfassung

Affirm is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and scale backend systems in a remote-first environment. You will drive technical strategy and collaborate with product and design to deliver high-availability services using Python or Kotlin, AWS, and distributed architectures.

You will contribute to search/recommendation capabilities and help define execution plans for major features, ensuring code quality and cross-functional coordination across global teams.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong coding practices and ability to write high-quality, maintainable code.
• Experience with search/recommendation engines is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
