This role is primarily remote in Alabama with required appearances. The candidate should have JD or LLB, Alabama bar admission, at least 5 years trial experience in insurance litigation, and strong research, writing,

Qualifications

• JD or LLB degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Alabama bar in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of successful trial attorney experience in insurance litigation.
• Proven experience managing moderately complex litigation with favorable outcomes.
• General knowledge of insurance law and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation for moderate to heavy value claims.
• Lead settlement negotiations and participate in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Develop advanced legal strategies for discovery, investigation, and trial prep.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff, and train teams across departments.
• Ensure documents comply with MRPC and company policies.
