Job summary

KoBold Metals is hiring for a technically driven role in remote North America. The role focuses on developing state‑of‑the‑art data collection instruments, simulating and calibrating sensors, and deploying hardware in the field to guide exploration programs.

You will build models using science, statistics, and physics to identify ore-forming signals in 2D and 3D, assemble a worldwide data set, and quantify uncertainty to improve predictions while expanding KoBold’s data tools for discovery of

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy new mineral exploration data collection instruments and methods.
• Help develop KoBold’s proprietary software exploration tools.
• Find and curate geospectral, geophysical, geochemical, geologic, and geographic data and integrate it into KoBold’s data system.
• Build models to predict locations of compositional anomalies within the Earth’s crust.
• Create visualizations to evaluate model performance and enable rapid data interaction.
• Apply data processing, statistical, and physics-based techniques to geoscientific data to guide targeting and decisions.
