Job summary

Remote Hunter LLC is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable role for a fully remote position in the United States. You will handle invoices, expense reports, vendor records, and supporting tasks across the accounting cycle. Sage Intacct is the primary system used, and you will contribute to month-end close and audits.

This is a full-time role focusing on accurate financial processing and cross‑departmental support to ensure financial health and compliance for the nonprofit sector client.

Qualifications

• Entry-level background with interest in accounts payable, expense reporting, billing and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with general accounting systems; Sage Intacct preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and attention to detail; support for month-end close and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable invoices received via inbox and Sage Intacct.
• Process employee expense reports, verify and support onboarding/offboarding in expense systems.
• Maintain vendor records and assist with 1099 preparation.
• Support billing, cash activity, bank reconciliations and monthly P&L reviews.
• Assist with month-end close and audit documentation; help improve controls.
