Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, is seeking a hands-on Accountant to join our finance team in a remote-first workplace with national reach. You will perform day-to-day accounting, assist month-end close, reconcile balances, and support external auditors while ensuring GAAP compliance and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
