Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, seeks an accounting professional for a remote-first role supporting our finance team. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, bank reconciliations, and assist month-end close with accuracy and GAAP compliance.

With 2–3 years of experience and strong Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUP), you will help ensure timely financial reporting, discrepancy resolution, and collaboration with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
