Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage general ledger, month-end close, and accounts payable in a government contracting or federally funded environment. The role requires GAAP expertise, strong Excel skills, and experience with Unanet and FAR/DCAA compliance.

You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, support project accounting across contract types, and assist with annual Form 1099 filings and audits.

Formación

• 3+ years general ledger or staff accounting experience
• 2+ years with government contractor or federally funded organization
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 31 and DCAA audit requirements
• Strong GAAP understanding and account reconciliation practices
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
• Familiarity with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and Single Audit requirements
• Experience supporting incurred cost submissions and forward pricing/botential billing rate proposals

Responsabilidades

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare financial statements and variance analyses
• Support project accounting and revenue recognition under government contracts
• Review vendor invoices, subcontractor charges, and accruals
• Assist with audits by DCAA/DCMA and external auditors
• Maintain chart of accounts and GAAP controls
• Coordinate with Accounting Manager and program managers on reporting deadlines
