Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Staff Accountant for a fully remote role. You will handle journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, support month-end close, and assist with financial reporting and audits.

The position emphasizes theory-to-close accuracy and cross-functional collaboration across AP, FP&A, and Procurement teams. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and experience with COUPA and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field.
• Experience with GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze variances.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and reclassifications.
• Complete account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statements.
• Analyze month-end close activities and support financial reporting.
• Review invoices, leases, and contracts for proper accounting treatment.
• Support AP from an accounting perspective and ensure accurate GL coding.
• Assist with audit requests and SOX control documentation.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Procurement, and other teams to resolve issues.
