Job summary

Binance.US is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team and enhance reliability, scalability, and observability of our systems. You will design and maintain monitoring, tracing, and alerting, collaborating with development and operations to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

The role requires 3+ years in SRE/DevOps, proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, OpenTelemetry, and hands-on AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash for scripting/automation.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, OpenTelemetry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining observability strategies for logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to instrument services consistently.
• Support adoption of observability best practices and tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Monitor production systems and diagnose performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotation (PagerDuty).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Contribute to automation to reduce manual work.
• Support post-incident reviews and continuous improvement.
