Job summary

Binance.US is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Engineering team, reporting to the DevOps Lead. You will enhance reliability, scalability, and observability of our systems, designing and maintaining monitoring solutions and ensuring uptime across services.

You will collaborate with development and operations, implement IaC with Terraform, and contribute to automation. This role emphasizes strong Linux skills, AWS experience, and proficiency in Go/Python/Bash.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
3+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
Hands-on with AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Strong Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain observability strategies for logs, metrics, tracing, and alerts.
Collaborate across teams to instrument services consistently.
Promote observability best practices and tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
Monitor production systems and diagnose performance bottlenecks.
Participate in production support, incident response and on-call rotation (PagerDuty).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Contribute to automation to reduce manual work.
Support post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
