Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced Site Reliability Engineers and incident management leads for flexible, remote engagement. The role focuses on training and refining AI-generated documents across blameless postmortems, root-cause analyses, on-call runbooks, and reliability decks.

4+ years of production incident leadership is required, with top-tier written documentation skills. We offer a fully remote, schedule-flexible engagement, with compensation at $80/hour and up to $1,600 weekly for 5–20 hours

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer, Incident Commander, or production/on-call engineering lead.
• Direct ownership of writing or reviewing blameless postmortems and root-cause analyses.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Write and review blameless postmortems and root-cause analyses.
• Create and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for core workflows.
• Collaborate with the AI lab team to improve reliability & incident response processes.
