Job summary

Axon is seeking a passionate Site Reliability Engineer to help build and sustain reliable cloud-native services. You will contribute to scalable platforms, improve system stability, and work across the engineering organization to enable rapid product delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in SRE or infrastructure, strong Linux and cloud experience, and proficiency with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC. This role is remote from Australia with opportunities for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure experience.
• Solid Linux OS knowledge.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar).
• Kubernetes experience (AKS/EKS or similar).
• Programming in Python/Go/C#/Java or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Observability tools experience (logs, metrics, APM).
• IaC concepts (Terraform, ARM, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Australian citizenship or security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building and maintaining reliable cloud platforms and tools.
• Apply SRE principles to improve stability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code and troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support service reliability.
• Create and maintain self-service documentation for engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Continuously develop skills and share knowledge across the team.
