Job summary

HHAeXchange is seeking a Director of Site Reliability Engineering to lead and transform our cloud operations across geographies. You will guide a team of SREs, drive automation, and champion DevOps practices on our SaaS platform.

The role requires 10+ years in cloud engineering with a strong leadership track record, deep AWS experience, and a strategic mindset for scalable, secure infrastructure. This is a fully remote US-based position in EST/CST time zones.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in cloud engineering and operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience with managing large scale AWS cloud platforms.
Deep understanding of modern SRE practices and principles.
Demonstrated experience driving team transformation and change management.
Hands on experience using AI-driven tools to improve operations.
Experience with cloud infrastructure tools (monitoring, deployment, security).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience driving process and culture transformation across organizations.

Responsibilities

Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud services across geographies.
Implement and improve automation, incident management, and capacity planning practices.
Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers and leaders; set the vision.
Model and lead adoption of AI-based tools to multiply team effectiveness.
Integrate disparate orgs into a cohesive multi-technology team.
Develop and execute strategic plans for cloud infrastructure and operations.
Oversee cost-efficient cloud infrastructure management and governance.
Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
Collaborate with product teams to deliver new functionality on our SaaS platform.
Champion and support DevOps transformation.
Develop budgets for cloud infrastructure and tooling.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance cloud ops.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
