Responsibilities:

• Provide quality loan processing, review files for adherence to underwriting standards, and ensure submission completeness.
• Obtain necessary information (loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc.) to process mortgage loan files.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Monitor incoming documents, verify data, and organize loan information into the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Maintain open files, order appraisals, send verifications, and gather documentation related to borrowers and properties.
• Ensure work quality and compliance with policies, procedures, and investor guidelines.
• Communicate with external parties (Escrow, Title, Realtors, Appraisal Management) and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Review credit information, verify credit reports and flood certificates, and submit files for underwriting approval.
• Clear stipulations, meet compliance deadlines, and process 4506T, lock confirmations, and COCs.
• Monitor pipeline to ensure timely funding and assist with post-closing activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Maintain confidentiality of borrower information.
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage processing and underwriting guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and office equipment.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of loan processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass/Empower, DU, LP, or other AUS preferred.
