Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality loan processing, review files for adherence to underwriting standards, and ensure submission completeness.
2. Obtain necessary information such as loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc., to process mortgage loans.
3. Perform duties following company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

Compensation: The target pay range is $58,000 to $70,000.

What You’ll Do:

• Review loan submissions, monitor documents, verify data collected by Brokers.
• Organize and input loan information into the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Maintain open files, order appraisals, send verifications, and acquire documentation related to Borrower and property.
• Ensure work quality and compliance with policies, procedures, and investor guidelines.
• Communicate with external parties (Escrow Officer, Title Officer, Realtor, etc.) and internal staff to resolve issues.
• Evaluate credit information and determine acceptability for loan programs.
• Pull or verify credit reports and flood certificates.
• Submit files for underwriting approval and obtain necessary stipulations.
• Meet deadlines for disclosures, approval letters, and denials.
• Process 4506T, lock confirmations, and Change of Circumstance requests.
• Monitor pipeline for timely funding.
• Assist Post Closing Department as needed.

What You'll Need:

• Maintain confidentiality of borrower information.
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage loan processing and underwriting guidelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of loan processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass/Empower and AUS engines preferred.
