Overview:

Sentara Healthcare is hiring a Sales and Account Specialist for Small and Mid-Sized Group!

Status: Full-Time remote position (40 hours per week)

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (EST), Monday to Friday

Location: Remote in Northern Virginia/NOVA, preferably in Reston or Fairfax, VA, and Maryland. Travel to the office approximately once a quarter in NOVA or Richmond, VA.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support (Senior) Sales and/or (Senior) Account Executives in producing and retaining profitable business within small and mid-market employer segments.
  • Interact with general agents, brokers, benefit administrators, members, and internal resources to achieve growth objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
  • Licenses/Certifications: Obtain a Life and Health Insurance License in VA within 90 days of hire; Driver's License (REQUIRED)
  • Experience: At least 2 years in related fields such as Business Acumen, Administrative, Customer Relations, or similar (REQUIRED)
