Provides processing and sales support for loan applications received from Wholesale Loan Brokers. Works with assigned Account Executives and Brokers to facilitate the management of the loan applications from submission to closing. Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures, and all applicable US state and federal laws and regulations. The target pay range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000.

What You’ll Do

  1. Main contact of communication and support between the Broker and various departments of the company throughout the loan process, including but not limited to Account Executives, Underwriting, Quality Control, Docs, and Funding.
  2. Provide excellent customer service.
  3. Pull or verify credit reports, flood certifications, and review appraisals as needed.
  4. Ensure compliance deadlines are met regarding pre-disclosures, approval letters, cancellations, and declinations.
  5. Monitor incoming documents from Brokers, verifying the data collected and submitted.
  6. Obtain necessary stipulations from brokers and clear them prior to funding as required by underwriting.
  7. Proactively monitor pipeline to ensure timely funding of loans.
  8. Meet with Account Executives about their pipelines and provide daily updates.
  9. Communicate with Brokers at least every other day and update all relevant parties.
  10. Enter data accurately into the system and maintain data integrity.
  11. Inform Brokers and Account Executives of any discrepancies in title, appraisals, credit, employment, income, or other related items.
  12. Order Verifications of Employment and Deposits to assist with pre-funding QC.

What You'll Need

  • Maintain confidentiality of loan applicant information.
  • FHA & VA background knowledge.
  • Thorough understanding of RESPA regulations related to GFE.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple files simultaneously.
  • Constant communication with borrowers, brokers, agents, loan officers, and staff.
  • Ability to coordinate various duties; proficiency with office equipment; ability to sit for extended periods; normal hearing and vision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Educational background and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
  • At least five years of experience as a Wholesale Account Manager or mortgage Loan Processor handling multiple Brokers and loan products.
  • Thorough knowledge of wholesale loan production and mortgage processing.
