Osc Global is seeking a Database Administrator II to support Microsoft SQL Server environments remotely in the United States. The role emphasizes database creation, performance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability, partnering with application owners to ensure smooth daily operations and future upgrades.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL Server administration and scripting skills, experience with backups/restores, and familiarity with cloud database concepts.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience required.
• Ability to work a 4x10 schedule (Mon–Thu) and occasional off hours/weekend as needed.
• Must be able to obtain DOE access badge and meet Real ID requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Manage SQL Server databases including creation, backups, and restorations.
• Monitor performance, security, integrity, and availability of databases.
• Support database upgrades, migrations, and cloning tasks.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and SSIS/SSRS packages.
• Collaborate with application owners and IT leadership on incidents and improvements.
• Provide off-hours support as required to ensure system uptime.
