Job summary

OSC Global is seeking a Database Administrator II - SQL to support the Microsoft SQL Server environment, focusing on database creation, performance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability.

You will partner with application owners to support daily operations, resolve issues, manage resources, and plan for future database upgrades. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of DBA experience are required; certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of DBA experience for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with backup, recovery, and restoration activities.
• Maintain database security and integrity while monitoring availability and performance.
• Support creation, cloning, migration, and recovery processes.
• Monitor health and performance; assist with upgrade planning and implementation.
• Develop and maintain Windows and SQL PowerShell scripts, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports.
• Provide off-hours and weekend support as required.
