Job summary

OSC Global is seeking a SQL Database Administrator to support a Microsoft SQL environment, focusing on creation, performance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability. You will partner with application owners to ensure daily operations, issue resolution, resource management, and future upgrade planning.

The role requires strong SQL Server administration, backup/recovery skills, and experience with PowerShell scripting, SSIS, and SSRS. Occasional after-hours support is included.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience.
Experience administering SQL Server databases and related tools.
Ability to plan for upgrades, backup/recovery, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

Assist with database backup, recovery, and restoration activities.
Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
Support database creation, migration, and upgrade planning.
Develop and maintain SQL PowerShell scripts, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports.
Provide occasional off-hours and weekend support as needed.
