VetsEZ in the United States is seeking a SQL Developer / Data Analyst for a 100% remote role supporting a major federal government healthcare modernization project. The position focuses on SQL development, data analysis, reporting, and data quality monitoring across large clinical and operational datasets using SQL Server, Power BI, and related technologies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another technical discipline, or eight years of additional relevant experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience with SQL development and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including large, complex datasets and query optimization.
• Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, or VistA) and data validation/integration.

Aufgaben

• Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries and transformation logic across large clinical datasets.
• Analyze healthcare data, identify trends, and create reports/dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to evaluate data flows and mapping for data warehouses and integrations.
• Develop data quality monitoring, validation routines, and reconciliation reports throughout migration and modernization efforts.
• Document findings and maintain technical docs, dictionaries, runbooks, and validation protocols.
• Support recurring reporting and evaluate AI-assisted tools for SQL optimization and data quality checks.
