Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a data analytics professional to develop and optimize SQL-based data extraction and reconciliation logic for federal healthcare modernization projects. You will create and maintain Power BI and Tableau dashboards, analyze multi-system data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine data models and mappings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong SQL Server experience with large datasets and query performance tuning.
• Healthcare data standards like HL7, FHIR, or VistA.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize advanced SQL queries, scripts, and transformation logic for data extraction, validation, and reconciliation.
• Analyze and interpret healthcare data from multiple systems, developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to evaluate data flows, source-to-target mappings, and data models.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong SQL Server experience with large datasets, query performance tuning, and healthcare data standards like HL7, FHIR, or VistA.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with experience in Agile environments and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Additional Information:

• U.S. citizenship is required, with ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
• Previous VA or federal healthcare data system experience is a plus.
