The University of Miami is seeking a Full Time Manager, Sponsored Programs to support the Neurology department. This remote role oversees administrative and financial aspects of sponsored projects, aiming to maximize funding and efficient use of grant dollars.

The incumbent leads budgeting, reporting, and compliance, and coordinates with PI, ORA, and central offices. Responsibilities include managing pre and post award activities, developing complex budgets, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, implement and evaluate department operations.
• Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.
• Knowledge of university financial systems and grant e-submission systems.

Mansioni

• Manage pre- and post-award grants and develop complex grant budgets.
• Maintain working knowledge of university financial and grant systems.
• Maintain knowledge of sponsor regulations and funding terms.
• Assist in clinical study budget feasibility and invoice reconciliation.
• Coordinate effort allocations and certifications with PI and staff.
• Track grant expenditures, payments, and industry grant revenues/expenses.
• Communicate with PI and central offices on grant setup and close-out.
• Provide timely financial reporting to PI and ORA.
