Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Splunk Administration and Operations.
• Strong experience onboarding customers and integrating enterprise data sources into Splunk.
• Experience troubleshooting Splunk infrastructure, ingestion pipelines, search performance, and operational issues.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and enterprise log management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Splunk platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Onboard new customers and integrate data sources into Splunk.
• Troubleshoot Splunk ingestion, indexing, search performance, dashboards, alerts, and infrastructure components.
• Configure and manage Splunk indexes, forwarders, search heads, inputs, and access controls.
• Develop Python-based automation for administration, monitoring, and reporting.
• Support observability initiatives across infrastructure, apps, middleware, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate across infrastructure, security, networking, and cloud teams.
• Manage monitoring/observability platforms within SLAs and drive improvements.
• Participate in OpenTelemetry deployment for logs, metrics, traces.
