Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to administer in-home speech therapy under physician orders, coordinating with the clinical team to support patient independence.

The role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and opportunities for clinical development in a support-focused, field-based setting. State licensure is required and acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist by the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year in an acute care setting.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice as an SLP.
• Completion of 350 clock hours of supervised practicum (or in progress) and national exam.

Responsibilities

• Gather background data, review referrals, select and modify evaluation tools, and evaluate patients' physical and psychosocial functioning.
• Reevaluate progress, recommend and modify adaptive equipment to improve independence.
• Provide full range of speech language pathology services as ordered by physician.
• Consult with physicians regarding changes in treatment.
• Supervise home health aide per state and federal guidelines.
• Evaluate outcomes and discharge planning.
