Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to provide in-home speech therapy services under physician orders. The role supports patients with speech, swallowing and related communication needs in a home setting.

The ideal candidate holds a current SLP license in the state of employment, has reliable transportation, and can operate in varied weather conditions while driving to client homes. 24 hours/week across four days, with 60% paid days off program.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate and provide speech therapy services to home-based clients as prescribed by the physician.
• Treat patients with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments.
• Support patients recovering from stroke or other neurological disorders.
• Part-time salaried role: 24 hours/week over 4 days, eligible for 60% paid days off program.
