Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and provide skilled therapy in patients' homes. You will work under an attending physician to address language, speech, swallowing, cognition, and voice disorders.

The role involves home visits to diverse settings, including single or multi-family homes, assisted living, and memory care facilities. A valid state license and driving are required, with generous benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting under the care of an attending physician.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those requiring alternative or augmentative communication.
• May work with patients who have had a stroke or progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
