Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialist to connect with medical professionals, promoting Amgen products with clinical insights. You will navigate payer environments and lead territory initiatives under the guidance of the District Manager.

The role emphasizes building relationships, achieving sales targets through branded programs, and providing feedback to improve market access. Remote/hybrid work arrangements are available where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or
• Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience or
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales/clinical experience or related

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and explain clinical benefits to drive appropriate use.
• Lead territory sales through branded messages, educational programs, and both in-person and virtual engagements.
• Develop and manage accounts, tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Offer feedback on marketing strategy and contribute to territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialist.
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values.
