Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Specialty Product Manager to join our Commercial Lines Product Management team in a hybrid or fully remote capacity nationwide. This role focuses on Management Liability with expertise in Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Cyber, Crime, and Kidnap & Ransom.

You will lead development and evolution of market-leading product offerings, working with underwriting, claims, legal, compliance, actuarial, and IT

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Specialty insurance experience with working knowledge in product.
• Deep understanding of specialty insurance products, policy wording, forms drafting, coverages, and regulatory environment.
• Advanced leadership, innovation, initiation, organization, and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and technical writing communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to convey product and underwriting strategies and coverage inter-relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of Management Liability coverage forms for admitted and non-admitted use.
• Monitor regulatory and judicial environments to remain compliant in writing states.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis for the assigned product and line of business.
• Collaborate with Specialty Underwriting to set professional and executive lines strategies and goals.
• Develop filing strategies and respond to State Department of Insurance objections as necessary.
• Mentor and collaborate with Product Analysts.
