Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Specialty Product Manager to join our Commercial Lines Product Management team in a hybrid or fully remote capacity anywhere in the United States. This role focuses on Management Liability and Specialty Insurance, developing and evolving products such as D&O, EPL, Fiduciary Liability, Cyber, Crime, and Kidnap & Ransom.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Specialty insurance experience with working knowledge of product.
• Thorough understanding of specialty insurance products, policy wording, forms drafting and regulatory environment.
• Advanced leadership, innovation, organization, and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and technical writing communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate product strategies and underwriting strategies into actionable plans.
• Strong ability to influence strategic decisions aligned with corporate goals.
• CARE values alignment and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of Management Liability coverage forms for admitted and non-admitted use.
• Monitor regulatory and judicial environments to stay compliant in writing states.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis for the assigned product line.
• Collaborate with Specialty Underwriting to support professional and executive lines strategies.
• Develop filing strategies and respond to State Department of Insurance objections.
• Mentor Product Analysts and work with cross-functional teams.
