University of British Columbia is seeking a dedicated Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to serve as the primary resource managing the coordination of specialty pharmacies within HUB operations. The role requires strong communication with SPs, case management, and proactive problem-solving.

You will review exceptions, support sales portal questions, and coordinate approvals and timely patient care. This remote role offers opportunities to impact patient access in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience or 6-8 years relevant working experience.
• 2 years experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a call center environment
• Previous experience in the PBM and/or healthcare industry preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource coordinating specialty pharmacies within HUB operations.
• Lead teleconferences with each SP to manage SPPs.
• Maintain ongoing communication with SPs as needed to manage patient cases.
• Identify complex cases and triage to the next level of support.
• Review SP records for exceptions and restatements.
• Provide support for questions related to the sales portal.
• Escalate prior authorization denials and/or appeals as needed.
• Assist with SPP scorecard and performance tracking.
