Job summary

United BioSource is seeking a dedicated Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to support SPs, SDs, and manufacturers' sales forces in a fully remote US-based role. You will reconcile dispensing/shipping data, build SP-HUB relationships, and address patient access issues across HUB operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of customer service experience (call center preferred), PBM or healthcare exposure, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree: Associate or Bachelor's; 2–4 years experience or 6–8 years relevant work
• 2 years in a customer service/call center role
• PBM/healthcare industry experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as Specialty Pharmacy Liaison for SPs and HUBs
• Coordinate teleconferences with each SP
• Maintain ongoing communication with SPs and PPs as needed
• Identify complex cases and triage appropriately for support
• Review exceptions and restatement of SP/PP records
• Assist with questions related to the sales portal
• Support prior authorization denials/appeals as escalation point
• Coordinate SPP scorecard data with NCM

Brief Description:

Patients are at the center of our business strategies. This role serves as a single point of contact for program specific Specialty Pharmacies (SPs), Specialty Distributors (SDs) and/or the manufacturer’s Sales Force. Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, identifying, and solving problematic issues and escalations. Provide timely and accurate reconciliation of SP and/or SD dispensing/shipping information, builds and develops strong SP-HUB relationships, and support all activities that facilitate patient access. As applicable, builds and develops strong Sales Force-HUB relationships. Utilize knowledge of specialty pharmacy processes, dispensing patterns and reimbursement issues to effectively detect and investigate potential gaps in care.

Specific job duties:

• ServiceProviderwillprovidededicatedfull-timeequivalentSpecialtyPharmacyLiaison(s)(SPL)toserveastheprimaryresourcemanaging thecoordinationofspecialtypharmacieswithinHUBoperations.
• TheSPL managestheSPPsbyconductingteleconferenceswitheachSP.
• TheSPLprovidesongoingcommunicationwiththeSPPasneededtomanageeachpatientcase.
• TheSPL identifiescomplexcasesandtriagesthemappropriatelytothenextlevelforsupport.
• TheSPL reviewstheexceptionsandrestatementofSPPrecords
• TheSPL providessupportforthequestionsrelatedtothesalesportal
• TheSPLservesasapointofescalationconcerningpriorauthorizationdenialsand/orappeals.
• TheSPLassistasneedwiththeSPPscorecard.
• SPPs will be contracted to work closely with NCM to support and coordinate service delivery.
• SPL will coordinate a delivery date for product, pump and supplies from the appropriate SPP to coincide with the patient's first day of titration or based on HCP/patient need. If the SP is unresponsive or refuses, UBC will immediately notify the client.
• SPL obtains information for follow up on behalf on the SPP.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4years of experience or 6-8 years relevant working experience
• 2 years experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a call center environment
• Previous experience in the PBM and/or healthcare industry preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment
