You’ll collaborate with care teams and clinics to enhance access to specialty medications while ensuring smooth dispensing and shipping. The role emphasizes patient communication, tech savviness with pharmacy systems, and a flexible startup mindset.

Qualifications

• You have mastered core pharmacy technician skills including processing claims, dispensing medications, and navigating specialty benefits.
• You can engage with patients, providers, and care teams in person or by phone.
• Experience with prior authorization, financial assistance, and patient advocacy is preferred.
• Familiar with EMR systems and specialty pharmacy platforms; willingness to learn new tech.

Responsibilities

• Complete prior authorizations for specialty medications.
• Source financial assistance for patients.
• Process pharmacy claims and verify dispensing workflows.
• Coordinate medication dispensing and shipping to patients.
• Improve patient experience by answering questions and requests.
• Serve as liaison between patient, provider, and pharmacist.
