BayCare Health System is seeking a Specialty Coder II for a full-time remote role. The coder will assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes, audit documentation, and mentor other coders. Must reside in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Codes using ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding systems.
• Audits physician documentation to assign CPT codes, diagnoses, and modifiers.
• Mentors and trains other Specialty Coders; serves as a department resource.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
