Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make timely and appropriate contacts for investigation and coverage determination.
• Assess exposure, set reserves, and adjust reserves as needed.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and recommend settlements exceeding authority.
• Collaborate with SIU on claim investigations.
• Pursue subrogation when appropriate.
• Handle first-party auto property damage and occasional third-party property damage.
• Write Reservation of Rights and Coverage letters when appropriate.
• Manage expenses and maintain quality of work.
