Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Support specialist to provide ongoing support for special loan products and modifications, ensuring compliance and accurate processing. The role operates remotely from home with the approved starting pay range noted.

You will review ARM contracts, monitor index updates, and assist with Home Retention/Loss Mitigation as part of the CMS team. Prior mortgage servicing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with special loan product types and documentation.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Intermediate industry-related experience preferred.
• Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information.
• Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the immediate work unit.
• Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Review service release loans for proper documentation before release.
• Review and maintain ARM contracts, indexes, and balloon plans.
• Audit pending payment changes for accuracy in system and notifications.
• Assist other departments with mortgage servicing inquiries.
• Identify loans that meet SCRA protection and issue letters.
