Parallel is seeking a Special Education Teacher for grades 5–8 in Colorado Springs. You will deliver legally compliant SDI, manage IEPs, and build strong relationships with students while partnering with general education teachers to foster a positive school culture.

Responsibilities include data-driven lesson plans, progress monitoring, and coordinating with IEP teams. A Colorado SPED license and availability during traditional school hours are required to support students’ reading, math, and

Formación

Active Special Education teaching license/certification in Colorado.
Experience providing specially designed instruction and working with diverse student populations.
Strong collaborative communication with IEP teams, parents, and students.
Proficiency in virtual services using meeting platforms and instructional technology.
Private workspace with reliable internet, computer, and webcam.

Responsabilidades

Provide legally compliant SDI and compensatory education services for students with active IEPs.
Develop and execute data-driven, individualized lesson plans targeting Reading, Foundational Math, executive functioning, and life skills.
Own creation, management, and ongoing progress monitoring of student IEPs (caseload management).
Collaborate with IEP teams to coordinate service schedules and tailor instructional approaches.
Administer screenings, track progress, and conduct outcomes assessments to guide instruction.
