Job summary

DSST Public Schools seeks a Special Education Teacher for Mild/Moderate settings at multiple Denver-area locations. This full-time, in-person role focuses on IEP case management, collaborating with general education staff to provide accommodations, and delivering rigorous, culturally responsive instruction with co-teachers.

Start late July; Colorado SPED endorsement holders receive a $2,500 signing bonus and relocation stipend for those 75+ miles from Denver.

Qualifications

• Has a valid teaching license with a Colorado Special Education endorsement.
• Experience with IEPs and MTSS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be an IEP Case Manager for a portfolio of students and develop data-driven IEP goals.
• Implement accommodations and modifications with general education partners.
• Supervise and develop 1:1 paraprofessionals as needed.
• Deliver rigorous, culturally responsive instruction in co-taught settings.
• Monitor student growth and provide progress reporting.
• Contribute to school culture and engage in professional development.
