Job summary

Parallel Learning seeks a Full-Time Licensed Special Educator to provide virtual instruction to Missouri students for the 2026–2027 school year. You will serve 11 elementary students (Grades 3–4) with mild to moderate disabilities, delivering SDI and compensatory education per their IEPs.

Responsibilities include IEP creation and progress monitoring, plus collaboration with the IEP team to coordinate service schedules and tailor instruction for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Special Education Mild/Moderate Cross-Categorical K-12 license/certification.
• Experience providing specially designed instruction in school settings.
• Strong organization and collaborative communication with IEP teams, including teachers, parents, and students.
• Proficiency with virtual instruction using meeting platforms and instructional technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliant virtual SDI and compensatory education for a caseload of 11 elementary students (Grades 3–4) per IEP.
• Own creation, management, and ongoing progress monitoring of student IEPs, including case management responsibilities.
• Collaborate with the student’s IEP team to coordinate service schedules and tailor instructional approaches.
