Job summary

Parallel is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to provide virtual instruction to K-12 students nationwide. You will deliver specially designed instruction and manage IEPs, coordinating with IEP teams to tailor services for diverse learners.

This role requires an active Special Education license, experience in resource/inclusion or self-contained settings, and comfort with virtual platforms during traditional school hours.

Qualifications

• Active Special Education teaching license/certification.
• Experience providing specially designed instruction for diverse populations.
• Strong collaboration with IEP teams, parents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SDI and compensatory education per IEPs.
• Develop and implement data-driven, individualized lessons.
• Manage IEP creation, progress monitoring, and case management.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to schedule services and tailor approaches.
• Administer screenings and conduct progress evaluations.
