Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Case management of a high-volume caseload (100-200 claims)
• Represent the agency in administrative hearings, pre-hearing conferences, and settlement negotiations
• Navigate federal and state education laws and regulations
• Prepare and review filings, agreements, and reports with accuracy
• Engage in settlement negotiations with parents and opposing counsel
• Collaborate with specialists and staff; provide training on compliance with education laws
• Research case law, gather evidence, and advise on compliance for hearing orders
