Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking a Nutrition Educator to provide telephonic nutrition guidance to members with chronic conditions. You will help them select, prepare, and eat suitable foods while connecting to community resources.

The role collaborates with the member to address nutrition topics and document goals, with follow-up scheduling and education material development. Requirements include a BS in Nutritional Science or Dietetics, RD certification, licensure eligibility, and 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science or Dietetics required.
• Registered Dietitian certification required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of residence (where license is required).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing nutrition education or counseling.
• Spanish fluency with proficiency in medical and nutrition terminology in Spanish.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic nutrition education sessions per member/patient; number of sessions varies based on program.
• Document goals and care plan from education sessions in platform.
• Schedule follow-up calls with each member/patient.
• Develop nutrition education handouts and tools as needed.
• Identify community resources for clients as needed.
• Maintain and update professional knowledge through education and publications.
• Contribute to social media content and videos for articles, blogs, and company newsletter.
