A BS in Nutrition or Dietetics and an RD credential are required, with licensure eligibility in the relevant state. The position operates within a chronic care meals program, offering a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science or Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of residence.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing nutrition education or counseling.
• Verbal fluency in Spanish with proficiency in medical and nutrition terminology in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic nutrition education sessions to members/patients.
• Document goals and care plans from education sessions in the platform.
• Schedule follow-up calls with each member/patient.
• Develop nutrition education handouts and tools as needed.
• Identify community resources for clients as needed.
