Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking Remote Spanish Contract Interpreters to support our PropioONE OnDemand service. This role requires English proficiency at ILR 3+ and experience in consecutive interpretation across medical, legal and social services contexts.

Applicants must complete Propio’s online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology assessment, pass a Mockoral interpretation session, and consent to a full background check and confidentiality commitments.

Qualifications

• Submission of updated Resume in English at time of Application.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• Successful completion of a Mockoral interpretation session with passing score.
• Background Check and Security Screen.
• Confidentiality, ethics and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures for Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows Propio L.S. policies on confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and subject matter knowledge for medical, legal, social services, etc.
