Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking remote Spanish contract interpreters for its OnDemand PropioONE service. You will provide consecutive interpretation and follow client protocols while maintaining confidentiality and ethics.

A background check and Propio’s medical terminology and anatomy assessments are required. Candidates should have English proficiency at ILR 3+ and a minimum of 1 year interpreting experience.

Qualifications

• Resume in English required at time of application.
• English proficiency at ILR level 3+ (technical proficiency).
• Successful completion of a Mockoral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio’s online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment.
• Background check and security screen required.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics and HIPAA compliance.
• Preferred: 1+ years of interpreting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and client procedures.
• Adheres to Propio L.S. policies related to confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for medical, legal, social services, etc.
