Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking remote Spanish contract interpreters for its OnDemand PropioONE service. You will provide consecutive interpretation and adhere to client protocols, confidentiality, and Propio’s ethics.

You will also be expected to maintain terminology knowledge across medical, legal, and social services to support diverse clients. The role requires an English resume, ILR 3+ proficiency, successful completion of a mock oral session, and passing Propio’s Medical Terminology

Qualifications

• Submission of updated Resume in English at time of Application.
• English Language Proficiency with a language rating of “technical proficiency” (ILR 3 or higher).
• Successful completion of a Mockoral interpretation session; evaluators use 24 quality standards.
• Completion of Propio’s online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment, with a passing score.
• A full Background Check and Security Screen.
• A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for medical, legal, social services, etc.
